25-Dec-2007   -   Version 3 release
Version 3 includes the ability to run a "slave" window, which is a mirror image clone of the timekeepers view of the screen, suitable for use with a second monitor when that second monitor is an extension of the desktop (as against a pure replica of the laptops screen). In this instance the second monitor will most likely be a large display facing AWAY from the timekeeper, either above his head or in front of his table. Therefore, the slave window is a mirror image, that is to say, BOTH "blue" sides will be to the ref`s right from both the referee`s viewpoint AND the timekeeper`s viewpoint. Thank you Charlie Laidlaw for this very useful suggestion. See "setting up" for further details.

This update also includes a reworked Osaekomi arrangement which eliminates the problems caused when the timekeeper mistakedly marks the wrong player applying the holddown. Previously it was not easy to swap the osaekomi over to the other player without disrupting the stopwatch. Now, as soon as the ref calls "Osaekomi", just click the osaekomi link. You have up to 9 seconds to click the white or blue button, depending on which player has the holddown (tori). If you make a mistake in that 9 seconds, just click the other button, indicating the proper player owning the holddown. You can change your mind at any time up to ippon of course but you would in this instance have to correct the scores given automatically by the osaekomi stopwatch. If question marks are flashing in the coloured buttons, this indicates that neither player has been associated with the osaekomi yet. Make sure you give it to one or the other before that first koka! If white has the holddown, a small blue strip will pulsate beneath the white square (that`s the blue player underneath, struggling for breath!) - and vice versa if blue has the holddown.
